            Helping your child shine bright

            Rising Stars Pre-School & Nursery is a family oriented nursery with a homely environment. Located in Willerby near Aldi within Goldstar Active, we have 2 play areas - the upstairs being our baby/toddler room (3 months -30 months). This includes an enclosed area for non mobile babies. Downstairs is the preschool (2.5-4 years). We also have an all-weather outdoor play area for all ages to use. We take great pride in creating a safe and stimulating environment and understand that every child is unique and has their own styles of learning. Practitioners are trained to observe and listen closely, to follow your child’s lead and seize ‘teachable moments’ to build their knowledge. 

            We follow 'in the moment planning' which captures the individuality of each child. Located inside Goldstar Active , we have access to their softplay/gym sessions and baby ballet - which parents can enrol their child in for a small cost. Preschool children also take part in weekly French lessons from kidslingo. All staff hold at least a Level 3 childcare qualification with the majority of staff holding a level 5 plus, along with paediatric first aid qualifications. We provide a healthy, well-balanced diet using fresh food prepared daily. Children are given the opportunity to explore the wider world through visits into the community and visitors to the nursery/pre-school.

            Andrea (Manager, Safeguarding Lead)
            Hi I’m Andrea, I have had 19 years experience of managing a nursery and 27 years experience of working in early years. I have a foundation degree in young children’s learning and development, level 4 management and B/tec in Nursery Nursing.
             
            I am a mum myself and this has given me the experience and understanding to appreciate that a nursery needs to be tailored to each individual child’s needs and every child is unique and needs the right environment in which to shine bright. I also understand how hard it can be to choose a nursey and leave your little one with us.

            I take great pride in my work and I’m committed to delivering and managing the highest quality of care and learning, in a fun and exciting way - continually assessing our environment and supporting staff. And working alongside parents to ensure their children’s nursery days are enjoyable and memorable.

            Hi I’m Sarah, I have 11 years experience of working in childcare and 8 years in Management. I have a Foundation Degree in Childhood Studies and have completed various training in Early Years including SENCO. 

            I have a young little boy myself and I can appreciate how important finding the right environment for your little one can be. 

            I strive on creating loving, caring, stimulating, and high quality environments for children to reach their best potential. I find working with children so rewarding, I love watching them progress until their next journey in education when they leave for school. It’s an honour to be a part of that process.
